Today Cory, Jolynne, Bryan & I went to Park City. I haven't been since I was about 12 years old but I remember going down the Alpine Slide back then. Now they have so much more to do. We purchased tickets to do the Alpine Coaster, the zip line & the alpine slide. We did the coaster first & it was so much fun!!! You ride the toboggan type coaster up the mountain, which is 8,200 feet up & then you ride it down the track, going through trees & bushes. It was so much fun!!! You are able to control how fast or slow you want to go. I had my handle pushed way down, so I could go as fast as possible.
Next we rode the ski lift up the 8,200 foot mountain to ride the zip line down. I was really excited to do this one. Once we got to the top Cory decided that he didn't really like being that high up, so he opted to not go down the zip line. He said he would wait at the top & I could have his ticket to go again. I was the first to go down. They strap you into this chair-type harness, have you put your feet up on the gate & then the gate opens & you go down the line. It was a lot of fun & not scary at all!! It take 60 seconds to ride down. I rode the ski lift back up the mountain (which takes 15 minutes!) & for my second time down I video taped it with my camera. I'll have to post it.
After the zip line we went on the Alpine Slide. You sit on the toboggan & are able to control how fast or slow you go. It was fun, but my favorite was the Alpine Coaster.
After we were done we went across the street to eat dinner at a restaurant called Squatters. It wasn't very good; if you're in the area don't bother!
We got pretty fried while we were there. Cory's forehead blistered & my arms got pretty red.
It was a super fun day!
