Chick fil A Sleepover

Chick fil A had a stuffed animal sleep over last night. Claire & Kate each brought an animal to leave for the night. They wore their pajamas and said good night to their animals and were excited to see what they were up to during the night. One of the workers posted pictures on Facebook of what the animals were up to and the girls loved taking a peek.
In the morning we went back & picked them up. We love Chick fil A!

Finklehopper

The PE teacher at out school has a frog named Finklehopper that goes home with a different student each week. He comes with a journal and the students are supposed to write about the physical activities they do with him. Kate had him this week and brought him to her soccer practice. He had a lot of fun going to the park and swinging too.

Goodbye to the Model A

The end of a special time....the Model A has been sold. Cory listed it on eBay and we had a buyer when the auction ended. We contacted the buyer, Doug,  to find out how he wanted to obtain the car and found out that he lives in Reno. His son lives in Roseville, so he asked if he could come take a look at the car. One Sunday afternoon in August Doug came with his wife, son, daughter in law & 2 grandkids. Cory took them for a drive. Doug was working on getting money transferred from one fund to another & it ended up taking a couple weeks to get everything finalized.
Today he came to get the car. We had mixed feelings as he drove it away. It was a special time for Cory & my Dad as they rebuilt it, but we think the right person bought it. He will have fun with his children and grandchildren.  

Yogurtland with Ms. Bailey

Claire had talked to her teacher at the end of last year and wanted to meet her at frozen yogurt during the summer. It never worked out, so we set up a time to meet her today. Claire felt so special to have some one on one time with Ms. Bailey. She was an amazing teacher and we just love her!
