Lemonade Stand
Claire, Kate, Addie, Ava & Jason & Ellie Zimmermann had a lemonade stand today. Addie has been planning it for a few months. They held it on the same corner as last year, which brought lots of traffic. Claire made 2 batches of brownies to sell as well. They sold out of the brownies and lots of the lemonade. At one point there were 3 different groups of people that wanted to buy lemonade, so we had quite the crowd!
Each of the girls made $8!!

Chick fil a Day
Today is one of the best days of the year.... Cow appreciation day at Chick fil a! The kids made some simple cow costumes & we went to Chick fil a for a free breakfast. After that we went to see The Secret Life of Pets at the movie theater and then went to another Chick fil a for lunch. That evening we went back to Chick fil a for dinner!
Cory was lucky enough to have his birthday the same day so that's what he got for his birthday dinner, ha ha!!
After dinner we went to Yogurtland for dessert.

Code Camp
Carter attended a Code Camp for the past 2 weeks through our school district. He really enjoyed the first day and then it went down hill from there. He went with a friend from school. They were the 2 youngest there. Most of the kids in the camp were in high school. On the first day they asked who had done coding before & Carter & his friend said they had. They were placed in the advanced class, which ended up being too hard for them. Unfortunately, Carter didn't ask for help so he struggled the whole time. He did learn some but didn't enjoy himself very much. The goal of the camp was to program an arduino robot to make it move through a maze.

Every Heart Beats True For The Red, White & Blue..
We had a wonderful 4th of July. This year, our ward held the pancake breakfast on Saturday, July 2nd, so it was really nice to not have to get up really early for that.
We headed over to Clyde & Judy's house at lunch time and had so much fun. We swam for hours, ate delicious food and had a great time with friends.
After dinner we went over to my Mom's house and had more fun! Snow cones, games, and fireworks made for a fantastic evening!

Bowling Fun
We met our friends, The Hess Family, at the bowling alley for some summer fun! It was quite a show, I had my 3 kids plus cousin Stephen and Katie had her 5 kids! The bowling alley was packed, so we only got one lane for all of the us. The kids still had a lot of fun!
