Dinner Out

We went out to dinner with Mom, all my siblings and their spouses that were in town for Christmas. It was a fun night to be out without all the kids. Thanks Mom for a great time!

The kids are super excited about our upcoming trip to Universal Studios/Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Legoland. It was fun to surprise them. I personally can't wait to stay at the Legoland hotel.
We had a nice Christmas evening at Mom's house with all the family that was in town.

Christmas Magic

We had a wonderful Christmas Day. Santa came and spoiled the kids again.
They were all happy with their gifts. It was so nice to have Christmas on a Sunday. We opened presents and then enjoyed a beautiful Sacrament Meeting.

Christmas Eve at the Movies

We started our Christmas break with a trip to the movies to see "Sing." We love the new seats at the Palladio. Leather recliners and table trays-what more could you ask for?

Possibly Pink Eye?

Poor Kate! Her eyes got swollen and goopy. I had some antibiotic drops left from when Claire had pink eye earlier in the year so I used those and her eyes cleared up within 2 days.

Cookie Exchange

Another fun cookie exchange hosted by Judy! There were so many delicious cookies to take home and share with our friends.

Claire's Field Trip to Maidu Center

I was able to go with Claire on her field trip to the Maidu Museum and Historic Park today. It was so interesting and fun! Claire was chosen to go try out the mortar and pestle & see how the Indians would crush the acorns. All of the girls had their faces painted like the girls would have back then.

Spaghetti with Santa

Our school had a "Spaghetti With Santa" fundraiser. The girls got to visit with Santa and they each got a gift....and we got to enjoy a delicious dinner of spaghetti. Ha ha!

Decorating Cookies for Activity Days

Claire decorated sugar cookies with the Activity Day girls this evening. It was a fun night with good friends. Faith was able to go with her as well.

Claire Pierces Her Ears

Claire has never wanted her ears pierced, but after Kate had hers done a few months ago, she wanted hers done as well. I told her she needed to wait until she got some birthday money. She finally had enough money so we went to Claire's this evening. She did a great job-didn't cry and she loves them now. She can't wait for 6 weeks when she can change them out to other earrings.

Claire Turns 9!

Happy Birthday to our Claire Noelle!! She chose to eat dinner at Red Robin. It was fun having her birthday on a Saturday-she got a day off!

Night on The USS Pompanito

Cory, Carter & the scouts had a neat experience staying the night on the USS Pompanito submarine in San Francisco. They came home with lots of cool facts about the submarine an the flag they are holding in the picture.

Ward Breakfast with Santa

Our ward decided on having "Breakfast with Santa" for our party this year. The ward missionaries were in charge of the party but asked the Primary to make the invitations and do the Santa room. My secretary, Emily, is an amazing designer and she brought all the stuff for the Santa room. It looked amazing! We had so many compliments on it and the party was a success.
