Doing Some Service

Cory & Carter spent the morning helping a family in our ward move to a new house. Carter had a great time helping & is gaining a love for service.

Twin Lakes Jog a thon

The girls participated in The Twin Lakes Totally 80's Jog a thon. They had fun dressing in '80's attire & they ran hard. Well, Kate ran hard, Claire said her foot was hurting, so she didn't run as much. Hopefully it brought in a lot of money for the school.

Paint Night with Activity Days

Claire had the opportunity to learn some painting skills from Crystal Close, who is an amazing painter at Activity Days this evening. They each painted a pear & did a great job. Claire wasn't too happy with hers, but I think she did an amazing job.

 

Celebrating Kate

We went to Yogurtland with some friends to celebrate Kate's birthday. It's always a fun place to get a treat.

Kate Turns 7!

Wow! Kate Jordyn is 7 already! She was so excited to have her birthday. All she said that she wanted for her birthday was a pair of shoes that had laces, since she recently learned how to tie.
Kate brought brownies to share with class at school & came home with a crown on her head.
Claire & I took her to lunch at Chipotle too.
After school Kate was surprised when Grandma Wozniak, Jolynne, Tori & Sadie were at our house. What fun!
Kate, we love you so much! You bring happiness, smiles & laughter into our home everyday.

September FHE

We celebrated Kate & Sydney's birthdays at Lisa's house this evening. The kids love getting together with their cousins. Kate got a Lite-Brite (she's been wanting one since we gifted a couple of them over the summer) and lots of money!! It is also Gradparents Day, so the grandkids took a picture with grandma.

Ward BBQ

We had a fun time & a great turnout at our ward BBQ at Fair Oaks Park this evening. It was nice to be with members of our ward outside of church. Cory helped bbq & I helped run the games. Claire invited her friend Mayzie to come & they had a blast together.
We hope to have ward activities every few months.

Afternoon at the Temple

Cory, Carter & I went to the Sacramento Temple to do baptisms this afternoon. We had about 25 family names to do. Cory baptized Carter & I  and we had a really nice time.

Claire went to her friend Jordyn's birthday party & they had a paint night. The girls did such a great job!
